Pig dissection in AP Biology was an exciting, hands-on experience that required team work and encouraged collaboration, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Students had to carefully follow instructions, make observations, and interpret what they saw. They encountered unexpected findings and variations, which led to valuable discussions and the ability to learn real world biology, make comparisons and practice their suturing skills. It's bittersweet, but the seniors are off on their journeys......with one last unforgettable bio experience.
