We have been monitoring the upcoming cold front that has blanketed our district in both a Cold Weather Advisory as well as an Extreme Cold Warning for the next two days.  We’ve looked at our entry windows to determine if a delayed start would be feasible or not.  The temps and wind chill numbers seem to remain below our typical standard when checking the various apps for our district communities.  These dramatically low temperatures over a prolonged period of time also add stress to the heating systems within the buildings, raising an additional cause for concern.  The district is going to follow the remote learning plan for the next two days (Tuesday, January 21st and Wednesday, January 22nd) to get us through the most problematic time period.  Our teaching staff has been working diligently to prepare for two highly productive days through our online format.  Please have your child access their school pages and communicate with their teachers through either their Google Classroom or Schoology accounts for both Tuesday and Wednesday.  Thank you.
